We are seeking an enthusiastic and competent Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Operations Department.
Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports. A typical Graphic Designer job description will cover all the above aspects as well as not limited to the following:
Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
Create these elements by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs. Ex: Adobe’s Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Aftereffects, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Coral Draw, etc.
Create visual elements such as logos, original images, motion graphics, and illustrations to help deliver a message
Design layouts, including selection of colors, images, and typefaces
Present design concepts to clients or art directors
Incorporate changes recommended by clients or art directors into final designs
Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other graphical elements based on business requirement.
Meet with/talk to clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
Produce drafts for review by clients/company and make revisions based on the feedback received.
Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client/company specifications.
Must be able to confer advice and suggestions from clients and the creative team, as well as understand what they want.
Manage several projects simultaneously and deliver them within the agreed timelines.
Be able to collaborate and get along with others when they work as part of a design team.
Call out any challenges/concerns well in advance.

0-2 years of experience in graphic design
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing (Adobe Aftereffects, Premier pro, etc)
Familiarity with design software and technologies like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and other graphic design software
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills
Excellent eye for aesthetics and details
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
